SISTEM PAKAR MENDETEKSI KERUSAKAN PRINTER MENGGUNAKAN METODE DEMPSTER SHAFER

At this time printer damage often occurs, especially for printers that are used continuously in a company. Damage to the printer can cause correspondence to the company to run poorly and can hamper other work. Printer damage that is being hand by novice technicians sometimes cannot be resolved quickly because novice technicians still do not understand the early symptoms of a damaged printer. So that novice technicians let these conditions cause the damage to get worse. If it gets worse then the damage will spread to other parts of the damage quickly. Beginner technicians also rarely consult with senior technicians at Media Data Computer Range because senior technicians are busy with busy work at the service area. In order to be able to carry out good consultations between novice technicians and senior technicians, it is necessary to design an application based on an expert system to make it easier for novice technicians to diagnose printer damage so that they do not have to come for consultation with senior technicians. With this web-based system used, it makes it easier for novice technicians to diagnose printer damage by selecting the symptoms that the printer may experience. With the expert system used, it can provide a decision about what damage the printer has experienced. In the expert system application designed using data analysis with the dempster shaper method. The results of the decision with the case under study in the form of symptoms experienced by the printer resulted in damage, this application can also provide a solution for handling it.
