ABSTRACT

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DESIGN FOR CAR SPARE PARTS SALE AT UNION JAYA

System design is the determination of the processes and data required by the new system. Union Jaya is a shop that is engaged in the purchase and sale of car spare parts that have not been computerized. Union Jaya stores often experience problems in fulfilling consumer demand and sales transactions, purchase reports, sales reports are still manual. This is due to the lack of information about the availability of car spare parts products so that planning and scheduling distribution both from the center at the store are often delayed, for example cannot be fulfilled on time so consumers are often disappointed or have to order and wait for the results of the order in a long time. Therefore, supply chain management (SCM) is needed to help overcome these problems. Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an approach used to achieve a more efficient integration of distributors, retailers and customers. SCM is able to solve inventory problems so that the product is available and feasible. By implementing a system that uses supply chain management, it can make it easier for Union Jaya owners to control and manage how inventory is in stores.
