GIS-BASED BRICK CRAFT LOCATION MAPPING

Asahan Regency has bricks that are well known until there are orders from outside the district. This is because the production in Asahan Regency has been around for a long time and there are a lot of them. The obstacle faced so far is that the location for selling bricks in Asahan Regency is located in an area that is difficult to reach because it is usually a remote location. The Asahan District Manpower Office has difficulty providing guidance to craftsmen due to the absence of valid data so that many craftsmen do not receive guidance and assistance from the government for SMEs. To overcome these problems, a geographic information system was created using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The purpose of this research is to design and build a geographic information system for mapping the location of selling bricks based on GIS using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. Another goal is to implement a geographic information system mapping the location of selling bricks in Asahan Regency to make it easier for the public to get location information. The research method used is qualitative without using any calculations.
