Abstract
SMART HOME DESIGN USING VOICE COMMANDS VIA ARDUINO BASED SMARTPHONE

Smart home is a concept of the future home, one of which is the control of electronic equipment using voice commands via an android smartphone. Smart Home Design Using Voice Commands Via Smartphone Based on Arduino, aims to control lights and doors automatically. A smart home is a system designed to make it easier for home owners such as housewives to control their home easily and comfortably. This concept can be applied to manage electronic equipment in our homes. With the development of technology we can take advantage of the android smartphone as a home controller. The light and door control system uses a relay device and is controlled via a network-based microcontroller device so that it can be connected to an android smartphone that has a smart home controller program installed.
